Bald Eagles


The bald eagle is a hunting bird of North America.
It is also the national symbol of America.
These strong birds like to live near water.
They can dive and catch fish. Bald eagles are
found throughout North America.
They like to eat fish, rodents and carrion.







Bald eagles mate for life. The birds construct a
large nest high in the trees. The mother has
 2 or 3 eggs. This bird is native to Florida.

The bald eagle is also the national
symbol of  the United States. The image appears
on many coins, buildings and flags.
