Thursday Morning

A cool breeze blowing off the lagoon. The temperature today is mild.
The sky overhead is overcast. All in all, it's a very pleasant day.
I can smell just a hint of salt in the air. The lagoon is salt water after all.
The curlers are out and scavenging for food.
Curler is the local name for this bird because of its' beak.
The real name of the bird is Ibis I do believe.
Whatever. A name is name. It doesn't mean much to them.

Closeby is the intracoastal waterway.
From my window I can sometimes see ships like this
pass by. This is a busy time of year for the boats
heading south. Big ones, small ones both sail south on their way
to the warmer waters.

Have a great Day!
