A friend writes, 'Doesn't Nessie like fresh water?

That's correct. Nessie is from Loch Ness in Scotland.

The Loch is fresh water and that picture was from the inlet.

What's an inlet? What's a sound?

I don't know...it looks the same to me...kind of.

Actually, the picture up top is a cormorant or anhinga.
A diving bird. It's more like a snorkeling bird the way it
swims and catches fish.
